Good news to all the powder hounds and those getting ready to visit the Steamboat area for the holidays.  1 to 2 feet of snow is expected over the next week and it is looking like the Western Pacific is being gracious with her winter storms once again.

The shop is looking great and I am eagerly awaiting the Grand Opening and the opportunity to provide the personalized service and a world class environment Steamboat and all who play in the snow deserve.

See you soon and tune into Universal Sports and VS for your ski racing fix.  I am in Beaver Creek covering all the TV action and the Men’s DH in BEaver Creek on the Birds of Prey course is hapening tomorrow.  It is one of the world’s best ski racing venues and Bode Miller is set to challenge the world on one of the toughest, fastest and most rewarding tracks on the planet.

Linsay Vonn just won the womens DH in LAke Louise Canada in pursuit of her third straight Overall Globe!  She is the best ski racer in the world and yes she is also an American for those who do not know her name.  You will after the upcoming Olympic Games.

Chad Fleischer here and I wanted to let everyone know that the Grand Opening for the store will happen on the 10th of Dec.
It has been over 18 months in the making and now Fleischer Sport will be the newest ski shop at the base of the ski area!

I look forward to seeing you all in the new store and at the Grand opening on the 10th. We have the hottest styles and gear for the 2009/10 season and if you have yet to test ride the newest Atomic, Armada, Blizzard and Dynastar products get ready to be amazed.

We also have the hippest and most fashion forward designs for clothing and accessories at the ski area base. The time has come to offer ski and snowboard rentals/demos under one roof, boot dryers for over night storage, waxes, tunes, on site basket check, professional and personalized service all in a killer environment with a professional staff.
Everyone has asked for it and wanted it and now it is here!
